What must a KOC/KOL booking contract cover?
A scope of work you can count
The collaboration terms state the channel, the content format and the number of posts; for video they also state the orientation and the minimum and maximum length.
"One review video" without format, count and length leaves both sides with a different idea at hand-off.
Fee, currency and payment deadline
The agreed fee and its currency are fixed before signing. The payout deadline counts in days after the published post is confirmed, so you know when the money is due.
HOJA holds no money: the advertiser transfers directly and then records the payment with a receipt.
Two dates: draft due and publish due
The terms carry a draft deadline and a publish deadline separately, and a single collaboration can override the campaign defaults.
Missing them is the most common reason a settlement stalls, because the amount is confirmed only after the post is live.
Revision rounds and response time
A contract should cap how many revision rounds you owe and how fast the brand must respond in each round. HOJA records both numbers in the collaboration terms.
Unlimited revisions means uncapped work against a capped fee.
Content retention and usage rights
The terms state how many days you must keep the post live. If the brand wants to reuse the content in ads or on its own channels, the scope and duration of that use must be written down.
Taking the post down earlier than agreed can cancel the settlement.
Sign the e-contract and keep the evidence
The brand issues the contract with a contract number and an issue date, and both sides sign it inside the app. Keep the contract, the transfer reference and the receipt images.
